We've invested greatly to ensure the wool we're sourced is the plushest with the longest fibres to make great quality cashmere. Longer strands have much less chance of unravelling, bobbling or misshaping, so the journey of our luxurious blankets begins in the hills of Mongolia with a herd of goats. These goats grow a layer of thick fur when the cold temperatures hit which keeps them cosy and warm when it reaches as cold as -40°C! When the weather warms up again, the goats no longer need this extra insulation and it can be gently combed using traditional methods and gathered to create beautifully soft, fluffy sumptuous wool. It’s then over to the knitting artisans to craft the fabrics into gorgeous garments and accessories for our customers. Our super soft blankets make great additions to your home. They look lovely styled at the end of a bed, or draped over a sofa to add a real touch of elegance. As They're so soft, they are ideal for getting cosy while watching your favourite film or snuggling up with a good book. As part of the Sustainable Fibre Alliance, we strive to ensure that our cashmere is sourced ethically, and we work with our team of 800 cashmere artisans to ensure not only ethical practice, but also the highest quality. Knowing that we are passionate about our team and animal welfare will make cosying down in your cashmere blanket that little bit more relaxing! To help combat the fast fashion crisis, investing in a stunning, higher quality piece helps to prevent fabrics ending up in landfill. As these blankets are crafted from the highest quality, 100% Mongolian cashmere fibres, they will stand the test of time, and be a reliable companion for many cosy days and nights ahead. This means They're not overproduced and they should stay with you for years to come.
